Beaman, 91, longtime resident of Austin, passed away peacefully at Hospice Austin's Christopher House Friday afternoon, August 21st. Sybil was born September 19, 1923 in Ratcliff, Texas, the oldest child of Edmund and Leona Giese.
She spent her childhood in La Grange, Texas and was a proud graduate of La Grange High School and the University William with a donation are invited tomaketheirgifttotheir local Humane Society. William was born on Dec. 17, 1988, in Austin. He attended River Oaks Baptist School in Houston where he discovered a love of and talent for lacrosse. He continued to play lacrosse at Episcopal High School in Houston and at McCallum High School in Austin, ultimately earning a scholarship to attend and play for Wheaton College in Boston, Mass.
He graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in political the love of her life, of Texas. While at Texas, she met and married Warren M. Beaman and her husband of 71 years. He was also an avid snow-skier, easily outshining his older brother on the slopes. He was keenly interested in current world events, political theory, his cats and his family.
William was preceded in death by his grandparents, the Rev. Kenneth Cuppett, Thelma Moorman, and Bob and Betty Dickson. gery with a specialty in hand surgery. During the Korean War, Frank was a Captain in the U.S. Army where he was Chief of Surgery forthe 34th Mash Hospital nearthe 38th Parallel. Frank met Patricia (Pat) Crum Morris at Duke Hospital where she was working they fell in love and were engaged in New York City where Frank was completing his residency at Roosevelt Hospital. Married on December 23, 1 958, Frank and Pat then moved to Austin where Frank set-up his medical practice and they started a family.
Frank was Austin's first plastic surgeon and became a mentor for many young doctors to follow. He served as President of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and practiced with distinction in our community for over thirty years until his retirement. Frank also felt called to serve others elsewhere in the world through gifts of surgery and compassion, he was instrumental in helping "cleft palette" patients in Haiti transform their lives from rejection and isolation to one of dignity, self-esteem and beauty. Though a gifted surgeon, his work wasn't everything he believed in serving his community. He was a Board Member of St.
David's Hospital and a Board Member for the Friends of the Governor's Mansion. He was appointed by the Governor to the Texas Commission on the Arts and he also served on the Board of Laguna Gloria Art Museum. Frank was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and served on its Vestry. Frank was especially loved for his deftly quick wit and personal charm he was talented, elegant and dignified yet he could always set people at ease with his humor which was uniquely his own. Frank found beauty in many things he had a particular love for art and music.
An artist in his own right, he appreciated talent and believed in supporting his friends in their artistic endeavors friends like Charles Umlauf, Bill Hoey and Roi James. He was also a devoted supporter of Good Shepherd Church's Choir program. Most of all though, Frank saw beauty in his marriage and family. His marriage with Pat was a testament of love beyond words and it is comforting to know that they are re-united in God's presence. Frank is survived by his son Francis Albert Morris III (Frank) and his wife Nancy; his daughter Catherine (Catta) O'Connor and her husband Jim; and seven grandchildren: Albert Morris, Tom Morris, William Morris, Mary Elizabeth Morris, James Morris, Claire O'Connor and Patrick O'Connor.
Services to honor Frank's life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. She was a long time member of the Austin Country Club Women's Golf Association. She felt that travel was an adventure that would always brighten her life. Sybil loved her adopted home in the mountains of New Mexico. She embraced life to its fullest and was always willing to share her passions with her family and many friends.
Sybil was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Leona Giese. Sybil is survived by her husband Warren M. Beaman II, of Austin: her sister Betty G. Breedlove of La Grange, Texas; her brother Ed Giese and his wife, Debbie, of Colorado; her sister-in-law Elvia Beaman of Brownsville, Texas; daughter June, and her husband, Michael Sidoric, of Austin; son Warren (Trey) M. Beaman III, and his wife, Lynn of Austin; granddaughter Kate Morretta, and her husband, Matt of Austin; grandson Daniel Webb, and his wife, Aubrey of Seattle, Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
The family wishes to thank her devoted caregivers from Nurses Case Management, her doctors and nurses, and the wonderful staff at Christopher House. He passed away suddenly on August 17, 2015. Nolan began talking at 6 months and never stopped. He had a huge enthusiasm for life. Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort, Kentucky. Glenna was born on February 13, 1 938 to Harry Glenn Young and Lucy (Nicholson) Young in Frankfort, Kentucky.
She graduated from Frankfort High School. Soon after, at age 17, she married the love of her life, Billy Edward Clark. They were happily married for 52 years. Glenna loved above all to spend time with her family. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, bird watching, movies, and bowling.
Glenna loved country drives, whether it was to look at bluebonnets in the spring or the leaves in the fall. Even though she grew up as a city girl, she enjoyed her later life in the country sitting on the front porch drinking coffee and watching the cows. She was a Kentucky basketball and Texas Longhorn enthusiast. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Billy Edward Clark; parents Harry Glenn and Lucy Young; brother Donnie Young; sister Brenda Rudder; and granddaughter Lillian Joyce Clark. Glenna leaves behind children Julie Garcia and husband Randy, Jennifer Atkins and husband Andy, Jeffrey Clark and wife Janice, and Jason Clark and wife Karen; sibling Linda Curtin; grandchildren Michael Garcia, Sarah Atkins, Ashley Atkins, Nicole Clark, Billy Clark, Bobby Clark, and Beau Clark; and many other loving family members and friends.

He began to play the trumpet in 6th grade and especially loved the jazz band, where he continued to perform in college. Nolan loved Austin High where he attended as a member of the Academy of Global Studies and participated in the Honor Band, Chamber Orchestra, and Jazz Ensemble. He was proud to represent his school as the keynote speaker at Dedication Day.
He graduated from Austin High School in 2013 Nolan was also an accomplished Boy Scout. He joined Cub Scouts in 1st grade, where his father was recruited to help lead his den. They enjoyed twelve years of Scouts together in Pack 395 and Troop 448. He was the top seller of popcorn for many years, knocking on countless neighbors' doors giving a full sales pitch. For his Eagle Scout Project he donated laptop computers to Malawi, Africa, where he visited in 2013 and personally delivered and trained the recipients of the computers.
He served as a camp counselor at the Lost Pines Scout Reservation for Boy Scouts from 201 3 to 201 5. He was a great role model for Scouts to have a positive camp experience. Nolan was a super Texas Longhorn fan and it started when he was four or five years old when he would go with his grandfather to UT baseball games. Eventually, he went to basketball and football games. In middle and high school he was rarely seen without wearing his UT shirts.
Eventually his grandfather had four basketball and four football seats at each game so Nolan could go to any that didn't conflict with a school night. He attended nearly every home and some away football games. Some of the most memorable games for him were the national championship Rose Bowl game atthe end of the 2005 season when UT beat USC and the 2005 national championship in baseball at Omaha. We have many photos of him that include Coach Brown, Coach Royal, DeLoss Dodds, Vince Young and Longhorn players. Nolan was a proud Butler Bulldog at Butler University in Indianapolis, where he enrolled in the fall of 2013 and was an honors business student.
He helped initiate the Butler University Bassoon Reed business which won first place in a business competition. He was an active member of the Butler jazz band, where he frequently played solos, and a basketball band member where he played at almost every game. Nolan was a dedicated Christian and was an active member of Western Hills Church of Christ in Austin and North Central Church of Christ in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a loving son and grandson and a devoted big brother to Brielle and Lincoln. Nolan's enthusiasm and energy made him noticed by all.
He is survived by his parents, Bryson and Leah Read, brother Lincoln, sister Brielle, grandparents David and Maxine Fowler, all of Austin, TX, Tom and Joanne Read in Indianapolis, aunts and uncles Teresa and David Price and Katie and Jim Thomas as well as 5 cousins and countless friends. She was born April 28, 1924, in Ada, Oklahoma to Archibald and Grace Wallace. On April 26, 1944, she married Theodore Huke, of Ft. Worth, Texas. As the wife of a colonel, Cynthia was a gracious, warm partner and homemaker. Ted and Cynthia enjoyed living in many locales, including Germany, Ohio, San Antonio and California.
Cynthia was active in her church and spent many years delivering Meals on Wheels. She excelled in golf and bridge. Cynthia had a personality people were attracted to, and she had many friends. She loved her family, bright colors, English muffins, and red wine. Survivors include sister Rocile Mueller; brother Jack Wallace; daughter Sara Naylor; sons, John Huke (Randy), and Scott Huke; grandsons, Dwight Monteith III Elena), Kenneth Naylor (Rachel), Jared Huke (Guo Jing) and Graham Huke( Erica); great grandsons, Max Monteith, Nathan Naylor, Jax Huke, and (lain Huke, born thirteen hours before Cynthia died), and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be at 4:00 pm, August 28, 2015 at University Christian Church, 2007 University Austin. Interment will be at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery.
